Video and Photography Director
I've always had a keen interest in storytelling… specifically telling stories with images. In fact, as a child, I often “borrowed” the family camcorder to film movies with my friends in the backyard. After a certain episode involving taping over footage of my sister’s birthday party, my grandfather gave me an old 35mm camera, and I was instantly hooked.
In 2016, I started my own company focusing on wedding photography. Having people invite me into their lives on one of their most important days (and treating every wedding like its own story) was a great experience. But two years later, I knew it was time to move on, and I sold the company to pursue a new direction, joining the team at DRM as Video and Photography Director.
Having been a small business owner, I understand the unique challenges that arise on a day to day basis. Today, video and photography are essential to how clients perceive the product or service… and by extension yourself. If a still or moving picture can tell a story, then it can be relatable. It can make you feel nostalgia. But more importantly, it can create a connection. And that’s the most important tool in marketing.
When I'm not working, I frequent concerts and film festivals and work on my own personal photography projects.
